Slow Cooker Rhuberry Cobbler Creation
This recipe is inspired by a few recipes. I love playing around with kitchen chemistry, and this dessert creation is no exception.
Taking the notion of a type of Rhubarb-Strawberry Sauce, dump cake, and even the topping from the 5 Kisses Cake, gives us this. The Slow Cooker Rhuberry Cobbler Creation.
As my friend, who can actually grow rhubarb, dropped me off another bunch, I had to try something different. Trying to make it a slow cooker or crock pot creation was a must. After all, our 30 Day Crock Pot Challenge is happening, starting September 1st, 2017.

A Combination of Fresh Fruit and Convenience
This makes use of fresh rhubarb and strawberries, although, I’m quite sure that the frozen varieties would also work. The convenience food is a simple white cake mix.
By mixing the diced rhubarb and sliced strawberries with white sugar beforehand aids in the blending of fruit juices. As these fruit juices is all that is used in helping the cake mix to be moistened, this step is crucial.
Make sure to blend the fruit and sugar and then leave it alone for a minimum of 15 minutes.
No other eggs, oil, or mixing is needed with the white cake mix as you will see below.
Slow Cooker Convenience
By using your slow cooker, you not only reduce hydro usage, you also keep the heat down in the kitchen. A slow cooker does not put out the same heat as using your oven. And during these hot summers, this is a welcome reprieve.
But why deprive yourself of great treats just because it is too hot in the kitchen. Using your crock pot is a great way to keep the heat down and show your family how special they are. And why not enjoy some rhubarb strawberry combination too.
