Simple Crock Pot Cabbage Soup
When I was growing up, cabbage soup was often a staple soup item in our home. It was a way for a healthy meal to be put in front of us with few ingredients. Basically, water and cabbage, seasoned with salt and pepper for flavoring.
Many families, especially during tight financial times, have resorted to living on cabbage soup. However, that didn’t mean we weren’t being served nutrition. No, on the contrary. Green cabbage is an excellent dietary source of:
- and vitamin C
