Instructions
  1. In the bottom of a 3.5-4 quart Crock Pot, place the 2 teaspoons of lemon juice.
  2. Add the blueberries and white sugar.
  3. Stir the contents. Cover the Crock Pot. Cook either on LOW for 4-5 hours or on HIGH for 2-2 ½ hours. Until boiling.
  4. When the fruit is boiling, prepare the Grunt Dumpling Dough. In a large bowl and a wire whisk, combine the flour, baking powder, salt, and ground cinnamon.
  5. Add the unsalted butter, and cut in with a pastry blender until the mixture resembles crumbs.
  6. Add the milk, and stir with a fork until the mixture is combined. Do not over mix.
  7. Drop by spoonfuls onto the top of the hot fruit in the Crock Pot.
  8. Cover the Crock Pot tightly with the lid and continue to cook on HIGH for 30 minutes or until toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean.
