Instructions
  1. In the bottom of a crock pot or slow cooker, place the diced russet potatoes, carrots, onion, and celery.
  2. Place the stewing venison cubes in a zipper seal bag or a container with a lid. Sprinkle the dry onion soup mix into the zipper bag or container. Close and shake to coat with the dry soup mix. Pour the contents over the vegetables in the crock pot.
  3. Pour the salsa over the vegetables and onion soup mix coated venison.
  4. Pour the diced tomatoes on top of everything.
  5. Cover the crock pot. Set the temperature to low and cook for 7-9 hours.
  6. Serve it up with some Bannock.
