Crock Pot Spaghetti Squash
This is a simple way to cook up Spaghetti Squash by using your crock pot or slow cooker. So simple in fact, that this is sure to become your favorite way to prepare it from now on.
Traditionally, you may be used to baking your Spaghetti Squash in the oven. However, as you know, this can tend to dry out this delicious spaghetti stranded squash.
Using your slow cooker, not only allows you to run about your busy day, but holds the moisture in your squash.
I was very pleased with the taste experience as a result. The Spaghetti Squash was moist and full of liquid, making the strands juicy. And the taste conclusion was hugely intensified flavor.
So, not only was the cooking process simplified, but the taste was intensified.
What a great trade off!
A Gluten-Free Pasta Alternative
If you are looking for ways to bring more gluten-free alternatives onto your dinner table, then you should include Spaghetti Squash more often. Let’s face it, most of us enjoy a plate of spaghetti but with the health complications it can be a challenge.
Whether your health complications with wheat cause:

- or more
include Spaghetti Squash as a wheat substitute. And it is low carbohydrate and low calorie too.
Easy To Prepare
You simply need to cut the Spaghetti Squash in half. Then scoop out the seeds.
Next, all you need to do is place the 2 halves of the Spaghetti Squash into the slow cooker. Place them face down.
You DO NOT need to add any liquid. Just the 2 pieces of Spaghetti Squash into the crock pot.
Finally, place the lid on the crock pot, plug in and set the thermostat to low. Then simply allow the Spaghetti Squash to cook for a minimum of 6 hours.
